The “Europan” competition call for the planning of a popular neighborhood of the 50’s in order to expand and enhance the natural environment (specifically a lava flow) that surrounds the site. Therefore the design intervention focuses around two basic elements, through an analogy with anglo-saxon schemes: the “crescent” that is to say the extension and the “cross” that is the path.
