The “crescent” represents a natural extension of the old residential scheme, that is made of 15 terraced building that follow the language and dimensions of the existing ones. The “cross” aims to offer a renewed dignity to a run down district that stands over one of the city’s most historically significative direction: it connects the reconstructed residential district to the light rail trough a path that enhances the historical and orographical qualities of the landscape with the realization of some “posts”, such as the new amphitheater carved from an existing orographic context certainly scenic.
