The assignment consists in refurbishing a store with a strong renewed image. Focal element of the spatial organization is the ceiling installation of a great ocarina, made of aluminium ribs covered with wire mesh, designed to contain technical equipments as well as speakers for music and video. The general arrangement of the project draw upon the ships’ decks with industrial parquet floor and essential shaped railings. The store is organized on 3 levels connected by a rectilinear staircase with a long central landing and a diagonal lift for material and people. The pillars are coated with anodized aluminium that, in addition to better adapt to furnishing elements, allow to realize specific listening points in specific cavity. The project has also affected the design of the exhibitors making them movable by lockable castors.
